Hurt

Featuring: Angelic Designs; GET STUFF

This will be a bit of a different post for me today; less on the look and more on the pieces I used to build the entire photo. I found an inspirational photo that I used to create this and it spoke volumes to me. Just a simple image said so much and I just had to re-create this in Second Life.

We'll talk about the outfit really quick - and then get to the rest of the photo. I've blogged the TRUTH - Ingenue hair in my Cruella Del Ville photo. It has multiple hair color options and 4 style options and is just super cute. The bodysuit is from ::Dernier:: is rigged for Maitreya, Legacy and Reborn. It also has a jacket with a hood, however you wouldn't have seen the arrow if I had worn that part of it. The last thing on the look is the nails, which are from Dalila called the Amy. They're rigged for: Kalhene Erika, Belleza, Ebody Reborn, Legacy and Maitreya.

Building this photo vaguely reminded me about the movie The Birds, which always freaked me out a little. These crows are from Angelic Designs called [AD] [Corbin] Black Raven. The pack comes with multiple options: 4 static ravens in different positions; a circling raven, a free-flying raven and a temp rezzer one. It also comes with a sound volume HUD so you can adjust the volume of that call sound. These are great mesh and I love the different options you have for these.

The arrow I used is from GET STUFF. It's a full perm set with a bow, arrow and quiver. It's not functional and just for display purposes only. The mesh and detail on the arrow looked great and if you're looking for something similar, this was an affordable option that looked great.

The background image was created using Bing AI. I love AI art from the standpoint of using it to help create an exact image of what you're looking for and believe AI art is a great tool to assist in creating your own artistic interpretation of something. The last little bits of the photo includes Dirt Piles from DRD in the The Cemetery - Small Graves set and grass is Skye Wild Grass Type 6 brown from Wild Grass from Studio Skye.

I created the pose using AnyPose and wanted to look at offering this pose, however know the arms and hands will be an issue, all depending on your breast size. I know this was a bit of a different post today and I enjoyed being a little more artistic today, thanks to some motivation from my friends.

About Me

For the love of donuts 2048.png

I've been in Second Life for over 14 years and enjoy all of the new things that I get to experience every day.  There's so much to do and see, the words "there's nothing to do in SL" have never left my lips; I keep busy the best I can and enjoy my time here.
